Admittedly, my earlier post about what I'd do may have sounded material and selfish, too. In my defence, I was thinking of a self-sustaining structure that is both home and transportation. Assuming such a thing could be achieved, I'm sure there'd be more than one.

 

No way. If I had extra money I would have dumped this poorly assembled pile of junk ages ago.

I would probably buy a TSX sportwagon and save the rest.

I don't drive a Prius because it's affordable transportation. Therefore, I'd buy a PiP and mod the heck out if it.

I'd like to think having that kind of money won't change me but it will. But I still won't want to show it.

Hell yeah. I would also buy another one, a black sports package 5 fully loaded and also purchase a BMW.

I'd give the Prius to my daughter, then buy a new truck and a luxury car for my own daily transportation needs. Then of course, I'd buy a nice enclosed trailer for my dream car, a 1957 Ferrari 250 Tesa Rosa!

At that point, I'd be more committed to the job of preserving automotive history than fuel efficiency. We all have our part to play.

 

I would still keep both my Prii. But also spend loads of money modding them and also get a Tesla S model.

 

I would keep my Prius as my daily driver and buy a Lexus LFA to murder backroads with on the weekends.

Ah....no.

Of course I don't buy lottery tickets, and so my chances of winning are somewhat reduced. Not by very much mind you....but I'm thinking that I'm not going to have to worry about that problem very much.

OK......so let's pretend that I'm walking down the road and I see a lottery ticket lying on the ground, and I check the numbers out, and it's a 8-digit winning ticket.
Would I keep driving my company car???

I wouldn't even come back to the office to empty out my desk...and I really LIKE my job!

Sorry, but if money were no object...and with profound respect to those who (say they) would continue to drive one, I'm thinking that I'd be rolling different sheet metal. Actually.....several flavors.

 

I will. Keep enjoying the advance technology. But, will buy one/some nice 'expensive' brand names cars to enjoy also.

 

It's normal to put yourself first when you dream. Don't take this thread too seriously. After our families most people would do something helpful for others.

Why are you so worried about lumber companies? Don't forget that lumer & trees are also renewal. When trees are cut down the land is replanted with new trees. No big deal in my book.

Yeah man get a grip! The odds of hitting Mega Millions are 1 in 175,711,536. You have a better chance of getting struck by lightening while getting bit by a shark as you are attacked by killer bees while getting sucked into a tornado as you watch a leprechaun **** the easter bunny.

 

I will probably put a twin turbo in my Prius and 19" wheel.

 

While true, tell that to the 3 people that won! I rarely play lotto myself but when it's big I'll buy a ticket, no big deal. The point of the thread is to have fun with the what if. Too many people are acting all serious about it like spending a few dollars will put them in the poor house. The odds may be 1 in 175,711,536 but the odds are zero if you don't play. :lol:

This is a great & fun hypothetical question. I cannot tell a lie. I would buy a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Supersport just because I could as it's my dream sports car but I would keep & buy an extra prius to make up for the guilty feelings of my impractical expenditures.

 

I only spend a buck or two when the lottery grows to big numbers. You only need one to win.
If I hit it big, I'd still keep the Prius but I'd splurge on a Lexus hybrid to put next to it.
