Dianne's SoCal MARCH 2012 Prius v wagons!

If anyone has seen Dianne's posts and is wondering what to make of them, here's my experience.

I bought my Prius v from Dianne on Saturday. I flew in from Phoenix and spent seven hours driving home a very happy man. It was really fun driving the car, gave me a good opportunity to get acquainted with it and break it in.

Dianne had a price that couldn't be beat. Factoring registration in my home state, the cost of flying out there etc, I still saved over $1,000 by buying from Dianne rather than locally.

Excellent customer service from Dianne and her colleagues at the dealership. It was a very painless and relatively fast experience. I also appreciated how Dianne and her colleagues took their time to walk me through the car, answered all my questions, showed me some cool little tips and tricks etc.

If you're in the southwest and considering buying a Prius, you should give Dianne a call.

 

I agree whole heartedly. I bought from Dianne on 11/02 and got the exact car I wanted at a great price.

Today, I went to the very large local Toyota dealer, just to look at the Prius c, the Scion IQ, etc. They had hundreds of new cars but not one Prius v. All the cars had mark-ups for fluff you'd never want: paint protection - $599; window tint - $399; window number etching - $399; document prep fee - $399; etc. On most cars, the fluff added several thousand dollars. It was obvious that, the more desireable the car, the more "fluff" was added for dealer profit. Even with that, this particular dealer is unable to keep a Prius v in stock more than 2 days!

Dianne gave me a car with no fluff. Just a great price on the exact car I wanted with no waiting. Thanks again, Dianne.

I wish I had joined this forum b e f o r e leasing my 2011 silver Prius II.
I'll bet you could have gotten me a better deal.

In short, I got out of a 2010 Subaru Impreza lease a year early, put down $1000 and have a 3 year lease at $340 per month including tax and gap insurance on the Prius II. 2 years of Toyota care.

Anything I can do after the fact? I've had the car one month. 500 miles on her. I'm in Los Angeles.
