    What is this sensor in the rear view mirror for?

    My rear view mirror looks exactly the same. Should it be covered with some transparent plastic or something? or is it allright

    auto-dimming sensor...to dim or tint the mirror when bright lights from cars behind u approach?

    that auto dimmer can be turned on or off with the 2 buttons on the right of it.

    if its auto-dimming is it still called electrochromatic? because the rearview of our rx turned all white lights to green and definitely disorienting until you are used to it.
