    Both are in the LA basin. The air quality, and thus pollutant, is crap... ;)

    As far north and west as you can go. I even have a 4.2KW solar panel array sitting on the roof of my house and it works as it was designed.

    Their both in L.A. county, which isn't saying much as the county is huge but no their not(similar). Marina Del Rey is about 20 miles away & a more affluent small city right along the ocean.

    The only time I notice a change in my MPG's is when I took out all the crap out of the back of my car. Must of added up to about 50 lbs worth of stuff.

    Modern factory paint technology typically includes curing the paint at high temp, so there's no need to wait to wax a new car anymore.

    For some body shop paint repair work, perhaps, but most shops have high temp spray booths.
