Looks really good. Your springs will make it great.

You should also take off that Hybrid emblem and replace it with a F-sport badge. Then replace your front grille with a mesh grille. And add an exhaust with dual tailpipes. Then debadge all the back emblems. Hell, just slap a Lexus badge on there. PriusChat Forums - View Profile: GoldPianoGarden

I got them on Ebay for $845 shipped with lug kit. I bought the tires through Discount Tire Direct.

For those wheels, that is a screamin' deal  What would those cost through Lexus? $400 each?

I'm not sure about the full retail price, but I bet they aren't cheap if you were to walk into a Lexus dealership and order them.

They are actually pretty cheap. They run about $199/ea.. I think the nutty weight (28.6lbs) makes them a less than desirable commodity. :(

They look great on your car! I have a feeling the MPG drop is going to be excessive though.

I was worried about the mileage at first but it hasn't seemed to change much. The wheels are not 28 pounds each (not sure where you got that number) they only weigh 21 pounds. I took a drive across town to check out the mileage after I got them on. No drop in mileage. (Just realized I need to set my clock to PM, LOL)

Interesting. The website the ClubLexus folks use was wrong then.

Another chap stated his total freight was 78lbs for all 4 wheels. That doesn't pan out for either the weight they listed or you listed. Any chance you can dig up your shipping invoice or weight a wheel/tire for us?

I ask because a friend may be swapping wheels on his ct F Sport and may cut me a deal on his trident wheels. At 28.6lbs I'd pass but at 21lbs or less I could be interested!

what is your average mpg before the rims / how many fill ups? I would be super surprised if you did not see a drop...21lbs or 28lbs either way. Also...what tires did you get?

I like them...looking forward to seeing them with springs. That picture is quite amazing. It appears you have a rain cloud hovering over your car on a sunny day :)

That was a harbinger for bad gas mileage to come. :p

Seriously though, I think the car looks great with those wheels and since I have the same car I am very interested in the weight and mpg loss. Could you provide more pictures? A full side shot and a shot looking down the body line to observe the wheel offset would be sweet.

I'll take some better pics on Saturday after I get the springs installed. The offset is PERFECT. The center of the wheel sits slightly inside the fenderwells. I think I'm going to go ahead and do a rear sway-bar on it because the rear feels a little squirly now with grippy tires.

    Very nice!

From what I've been reading about these "mods", mileage doesn't seem to ever drop much. Interesting.

You are making the Prius cool.
This is key, imo, to get more and more people on board.
    Kudos.

These have a 36mm offset. How does this compare to the Prius 5 and Prius Plus Pkg wheels?

Prius Plus Pkg wheels have a 43mm offset, does anyone know the offset of the Prius 5 wheels?

Prius Five wheels have a 50mm offset.

Gene weighed his F Sport wheel for me. He subtracted tire weight and came up with 22 lbs so the original claim of 21lbs is likely correct. Very good news. :)

I'm not sure where you got that idea unless a 4mpg drop is not that much to you.

Got the springs put on and had an alignment today. I'm impressed with the ride quality.
