I would like to organize a regional meet in April. Last time, F8L, xs650, amm0bob, dogfriend and myself met up in Sacramento. This time I would like to organize a meet that would be more friendly to the Bay Area group. I have created a doodle page which will allow everyone to check the dates on which they are available. This way, we can pick a date that works best for everyone. Here is a link to the doodle page: Doodle: Priuschat Meet So far, I have not decided on a location. We can pick this later on based on the geographic location of attendees. As far as activities during this meet, we can do a BBQ, have lunch at a restaurant, make it a DIY meet, etc. I am open to ideas. Hopefully we can organize something that will work for everyone.

There is a norCal meet. It happens every year at green drive expo. If you do it too often, people'll stop going. Look what happened to the SoCal meet. They did it every month beginning of last year and it ended up with less than 10 cars the last meet they had. I suspect that the next GDE will have less PC people show up because there's nothing new from Toyota this year.
You might just have to pick a date and go with it - pleasing everyone is very difficult. Another option for later in the year would be to meet at the Green Drive Expo, being held September 15 at the Ford Pavilion in Richmond. It's a public event, but there's usually a large contingent of Priuschatters. Having some kind of PC event in conjunction with GDE, possibly on the Sunday, sounds like a good idea to me.
Howdy, I see Marina, CA is south of Santa Cruz, just north of Monterey. Are you going to meet in N. CA? I'm in San Jose, and am considering buying a PIP, and would like to talk to some owners before I do.
I would love to do a meet up of some sort, but my weekends are booked solid until June. Perhaps a summer one later on?
that works! lol.. i've had my car for only 2 weeks.. and i've already put over 1100 miles on it.. lol... obviously i wouldn't mind driving further if the meet ended up elsewhere. though i'd probably still prefer something within a 2 hr drive radius.
Sounds like fun! This is our third Prius. We're out here in Pleasanton- a short drive wouldn't kill me.
