What are you looking for? I am assuming a Prius of some sort? My dealer in San Diego is not too bad yet(I actually like him) From what I have been reading on here for the last few years, Dianne is a real peach of a Toyota dealer.
Since you are a resident of riverside, You must purchase your car from a Toyota dealer in Riverside to take advantage of $2000 rebate offered by the city. More details here Additional Incentives The $2000 rebate is available for both Pip and regular Hybrid. This rebate is in addition to what is available for PiP from the Feds and CA.
Well the only dealer in Riverside is Toyota of Riverside or Moss Bros. in Moval. I've never really heard anything about them. But from my observations, and shopping around (I've looked all over L.A./O.C. to Ontario and San Bernardino), I've had better offers in the South Bay area. Carson Toyota, Power Toyota of Cerritos, and Hooman Toyota of Long Beach gave me great offers. Last time I checked, Toyota of Orange had one 2011 model II left in Red for $21,900. But I don't know what trim you're looking for.
Hmm that's interesting. I'm sure the Riverside dealers will try to use this against lowering their offers.
On your way to Carson, I suggest you stop by Longo Toyota in El Monte, only because they sell more Toyotas than anybody (I think). I didn't buy my Prius there (I had a contact in Irvine, but he's no longer there). You can also go to Santa Monica Toyota, but I don't like their sales staff (long story). But I'm told they sell the most Priuses in the country. I think taking a look at both Longo Toyota and Santa Monica Toyota would be good because I'm sure they have a large volume of Priuses to look at. But that $2,000 rebate sure looks nice. So maybe you should buy in Riverside. Good luck. Mike
op said they were looking for a GOOD dealer. a good dealer will provide great service at a great price. not necessarily the best price. the best price generally results in poor service.
There is a Toyota on auto drive just past the Carmax in Riverside. I don't know the name of it, but I test drove a few Prius there 2 weeks ago.
I liked Cabe. They are a small dealer, seemed genuine and was straight to the point. No games, no pressure. Unfortunately they only had one color in what I was looking for. Also the best price they can do was $23,400 for a 2012 II when Power and Hooman already offered lower. Lowest price? No. Quality service? Likely based on what I've observed.
I think it's very likely that the OP might/will purchase his car at another dealership and have it serviced in Riverside no matter where he purchases the car. So, I think the service on his car will be whatever he gets in Riverside, not at the dealer where he purchased the car. I think he'll want to find the lowest price for whichever model he wants. But that $2K rebate sure looks good if he purchases in Riverside. Mike
I have a co-worker who bought a 2012 Prius 2 from Moss Bros ~ 6 weeks ago. He used internet/email to shop around and they offered him the best deal (I do not have details about pricing though). I have no experience myself about Moss Bros ...
