This may sound completely silly, but a quick googling did not help me much. When you purchase a warranty- lets say 10 years, 100,000 miles. Is the ten years from the time you purchase the warranty/car or 10 years from the cars model year? Thanks in advance!
call your dealer with the vin, they'll be happy to tell you your "in-service date" we brought our 2004 corolla in a few days after the warranty expired for something that would cost $500+ (parts & labor). Since we have owned 10 toyotas over the years we had no problem getting it covered, you may not be so lucky, especially in this economy.
