Permanent Mount Roof Rack

    Has anyone installed one on their Prius v wagon yet? Would love to see a picture if you have.

    I thought about it but did not want to drill holes thru the roof.
    Too big a chance for water leaks.

    Roof leaks can be mitigated with the right sealant. Butyl tape often used in windows is a phenomenal sealer. Older boats (70s) used it and are leak free today without intervention.

    If I needed a roof rack it would be removable. W

    What will a roof rack do to your CD. I use a Yakama only to transport my Kayak or bike. Otherwise, off it comes, even with the deflector I see a 2-3 mpg hit with it on.
