I just bought my Prius C yesterday and have read the manual, but it was less than helpful in explaining how to actually make a call or enter numbers into the phone book. All I can see is information on how to navigate menus. In my Nissan all I needed to do was pair the phone (I was able to do that in my Prius) and just push the off the hook button and all of the info would come from my phone itself. There was no phonebook or even any menus. This is my first Toyota so I am a complete newbie. Thanks in advance.
I do not have the "c" but in my Prius when I synced up the bluetooth in the car and with my phone, the sync took care of the phone, music on the phone and internet connection. Also I got a owners manual for the car and the nav unit. When I make a call I push the speak button and say "Dial then the name of the person"
If it is like the Gen III if you are moving your options on the screen are limited. As above you can use the voice commands or select Speed Dial numbers. If you are not moving then it is much like a cell phone where you go to your contact names and look up the person and then enter dial. Or you can enter a number and then dial.
