I await my v5 order and have been reading the forum - seems Toyo is OEM but there was another thread saying Yokohama tires may be OEM. Newbie so not sure how to do poll.
im getting a new set of tires to replace the faulty yokohama s33, i hope you dont end up getting this tire, pure junk, they started cupping at 1000 miles,bought my car into toyota ,they were more then usless in helping me, i went to a yokohama dealer and they gave me 65% prorate towards a new set of tires, the yokohama ascend LRR tire,i was told this is a brand new tire from yoko
My new v has Bridgestone Turanza standard. Must not have Ecopias in the 16" size yet. So far, pretty good tire, keep at 39psi.

Thank you It is odd that toyo tires website doesn't list the tire. Tirerack has the tire but not the size. Looks like if that is what comes on my v I will have to fine a different tire come replacement time.
My v 3 came with Michelin [Green X] Energy Saving A/S tires. So did my neighbor's delivered in MD in January.
Bridgestone EL400 on 16" rims. But they were switched out for Nokian studded snow tires within 12 hours.
no on seems to know why my v came with "w" rated tires that are hard and noisy. after 100 miles replaced with Michelin Serenity and big improvement but, expensive in the 17" size.
Ours came with Toyo proxes A20 p215/50/17 and the dealer also gave us a set of Hankook I*cept 215/50/17 95v tires not mounted on rims.
My 2013 Prius v Trim/Model 5 came with Toyo Proxes A20 P215/50R/17 tires. My 2010 Prius 5 w/Advance Technology had Bridgestone Turanza El400 tires.
