I traded in my wrangler 4-door (15mpg) for a prius & my wife traded her M-Class benz (19mpg) for a Prius V. After the trade in, the payment is $330 for both cars, and we'll probably save $500-$600/month in gas. Happy to be part of the prius club -
Welcome :welcome: to the couple from Joisey who were smart together and are now a money saving 2 Prii family. With the amount you are going to save, now you can afford that vacation away from Joisey you always wanted!
Congratulations! I went from a crewcab diesel 4wd Chevy truck to a Prius. I was spending about $250 a month for diesel & think I'll be spending about $50 in the Prius. That's almost enough savings to make most people's payment! It's a good feeling, isn't it?
That's a juicy quote in your sig during these current times, Spiderman. It looks like it improperly links to your fuel savings page @ fuelly.com. Welcome aboard to the newbs!
I traded in a 4DR Rubicon last month, wondered at the time how common that swap is. Moving from a clunky Jeep definitely makes the ECO Savings Record screen more fun to watch.
my brother did a similar "trade".. he still has his F350 super-duty because it's his new diesel project... he switched to a used fully loaded 05 prius. he's excited about the savings. he purchased the 05 for about 4k... he will make up the cost of buying the car within the year with fuel savings
Congrats! I recently did a similar trade - getting rid of my 15mpg tacoma for the prius. I have zero regrets.
Welcome! Reading the title, I thought Wrangler>Prius meant the wrangler is better than Prius and was thinking...uhhh????
