Okay my first Prius. 2012 mdl II, what are all the slide noises and moving parts when I get in and power up and when I turn the car off. Sounds like the old moving antenna sounds. Sometimes I hear a pop or loud snap when I start the car also. Not all the time, sounds like a slide is stuck then pops thru.
When you open the driver's door you should hear the brake actuator pump sound. After pressing the power button, you might here the relays snapping closed. As you shift out of Park, you might hear the parking paw release with a pop if there is pressure on it.
I also hear like small motor hum, in the rear area, like something extending or retraction, very odd.
