I just bought our Prius 11 about 10 days ago. Learning so much about it & have learned a great deal on this forum. Will now with my 1st fill up implement the "hypermillin" technique which I didn't know about when I drove our Prius off the lot. I filled up with 2 pips left because I was becoming impatient with the whole "fuel milage" thread on here. I went with non-ethonal 89, $4.09 & it took 9 gallons to fill to 1st click. Can't wait to experiment with other posters techniques on filling up although I can pretty much guarentee that I will never fill up a 1/2 tank, I am usually the let it run dry type so 2 pips is a good deal of gas for me.

Yup, I had to get out & check which side of the car the tank was on since I hadn't filled it up. Now I know it is on the opposite side of our B9.
:welcome: Had a good laugh over the miles to the tank, and which side the cap is on... Still trying not reach for the key to turn my new Prius off!
One of the light segments on the fuel level indicator -> 2 pips = 2 light segments illuminated from none (empty, or closer to truth, reserve.)
