window tinting

Dealers offer it..As a matter of fact, I had my tint "Thrown in" with the deal!

 

Some dealers just sub it out to a tint guy. I went with a local shop that only does tint and was highly recommended.

 

My dealer says his window tint is laser cut from Toyota templates. That's enough info to let my dealer do the tint on my PiP when I get it.

 

I love my tinting! Here in Hawaii, it is just sub'd out. I found out who actually did the work and went to them off the street and got a better deal than what the dealer was charging. Did the same thing for the radio swap.

 

Where you at and who did the work?

 

Yeah I'm looking for good tint on Maui...

 

anyone have any recommendation for window tinting in MA. I'm around Milford, Bellingham area.

I have googled and quite a few came up but I wanted to know if anyone had experience with any. I'm really fuzzy about quality I would hate to see bubbles.

 

Mine came installed by the distributor at the dock, Southwest Toyota.

Yes, you're right. And, as you said, I was a victim of the dreaded "autocorrect."

 

The dealer offered to have the windows tinted for $700. I ended up paying $150 at a place highly recommended on Yelp. It turns out, they are the same people to which my dealership contracts out their work.

The V looks great with tinted windows, highly recommended. The only caveat is that we went with the 5% film and it seems maybe just a little bit too dark on the inside now.
