Thinking of buying a Prius? Aren't they great cars! Hey - it's not all roses - here are a few issues you might not be expecting... (these are jokes - laugh - ha) 10. Have to relearn how to work the gas pump every couple of months. 9. Can't figure out what to do with the savings in gas money. 8. Start wanting to motion sensor the house so *those* lights turn on when you get close or walk in. 7. Tend to see other cars as "MPG" - Massive Petroleum Guzzlers. 6. Those other cars don't have smart keys - you look silly pulling on their handles repeatedly. 5. Passengers angry on long trips - don't need to stop for gas anymore - driver forgets about bathroom breaks. 4. You look out of place when happy and smiling in your car when surrounded by other grumpy drivers. 3. Guilty feelings for not paying your fair share of gasoline tax. 2. Built in navigation - can't use 'got lost' as an excuse anymore. 1. Engine shuts off when stuck in traffic - noisy passenger keeps talking.
Always having to look at a phone for GPS is a PITA to me. I like the hands off approach & having a much bigger screen then a phone. There are many aftermarket HU's made to fit & give that OEM look if you want it down the road. Here is my Rosen in my 09 Corolla.
I have an 11 corolla and if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you with installation and everything? Also how long has it been? Any issues so far?
12. Makes me 'seem like a gentlemen, bc I open the passenger door for girls now. (bc if you open the driver door the passenger door doesn't open too). But they don't know that, so i just let Them think I am Gentlemen.
