I am looking for a recommendation for a reusable water bottle that fits in the Pruis' door. Anyone find a good one that fits so I can stop buying bottled water for the drive to and from work? Thanks!
There is a lot of research indicating not to re-use #1 type plastic. BPA and even more in plastic water bottles is DEHP and both are known carcinogens contained in those. Over a short time (one or two uses) they are almost non-existent - and safe. But over repeated use in those bottles from wear and tear, and getting knocked around and scratched, the numbers of the toxins released from within the plastics gets at more prevalent. I usually use my camelbak or Nalgene bottle, but I don't think they will fit. I did notice at starbucks (my wife's favorite place) the other night, that they sold insulated glass bottles that seemed to be no larger in diameter than a typical water bottle, and that was my first thought... that they will fit.
Thanks for the advice. I also found a portable Brita that fits in the door as well. I would post the link but I guess I need to have more posts for that privilege. Just look up Brita Water Bottle on google.
