Dropped over my 2012 Prius yesterday to have leather seats installed. Picked it up today and I love the look! All in all a good modification for a decent price. I went with a 2 tone leather. The outer color matches the dash and the inner color comes close to matching the side moldings and headliner. I went with the dark headrest, figuring it would not show dirt as much as the lighter color. Funny thing: When I got in the car I noticed I had about 2-3 inches of less headroom. I thought perhaps the seats were highly padded. Being 6ft1in I did not like this at all! Well, I then realized the seats were elevated by the lever. Once I lowered them with the lever I was again a happy camper You will also note in the pictures that I had the Auto-dimming Homelink mirror installed. Also you will see my two-tone leather steering wheel cover, which matches to a certain extent
The dealer sent it to the people they use. It is a company called VIP Car Care in St Louis. The cost was $1,125
It does look nice. Is it real leather, or that Pleather stuff? I think the color combo looks great. Hopefully they are easy to clean, and tough to get dirty!
Very nice! Will have to keep that in mind down the road when my seats start to show the wear in the years to come. Thanks for sharing the pics...
The seating areas are leather, either part of the seating area or all of it depending on which option your bought. The sides and backs are vinyl. My Katzkins are nearly identical looking to yours, same color and perforated leather in the seating area. I installed my own, you were wise to have it done.
