When I power off my prius, it gives me the following information:

    Time
    Distance
    Consump.
    Fuel Cost

You can see this at the following site: i.imgur.com/daZ9B.jpg

The first three are filled out. The last one is always at 0.00$.

How do I make the prius fill this out? I assume it has to do with the fact that it doesn't know the cost of gas. I've hooked up my phone with entune and clicked on the gas prices app, but there's no way to sync this. I've also found no way to enter this manually.

I've been searching for days now and I can't seem to find anything that will help this.

I don't know the ettiquette of posting to multiple forums, but I posted this to Audio and Electronics, I'm not certain that's where it belongs.

I don't exactly remember the terms but I think it's something like...

You cycle through the DISP button on the steering wheel. It goes scrolls through the different screens until you get to "Settings (Press and Hold)". Press and hold down DISP. :)

It should now display a list of options, press DISP and it should cycle through the list. Hold DISP should let you change the value of the highlighted option. One of the options should be fuel cost. You can use DISP and TRIP to change the value up and down, doing nothing for 5 seconds will set it to current value (the car should tell you this as well).

I merged the two and left a permanent redirect. This seems to be more of a "troubleshoot" I guess. The Audio/Electronics is more for stereo and navigation upgrades.
