I asked my dealer if it would be posiible to order a colour which isn´t ofiically offered in Germany . The dealer said he would do what he can and get in touch with me later this week . The colour i am talking about is "Sea Glass Pearl" . Now i know i am taking kind of a risk if it really was possible to order that colour,because i have no way of seeing it in real life before i get the car . Computer screens tend to be very different when it comes to showing colours,so do i have the right impression that "Sea Glass Pearl" seems to be a kind of a light greenish/silvery colour ? Thanks for your help !
A lot depends on the lighting. The pictures on the Toyota website are not anywhere near the true color. We just picked ours up last week. On a cloudy day, or in the garage, it's got a bluish tint to it, but in the bright sun, it's more of the silvery green you mention. At any rate, we love the color!
The color kinda reminds me of Valentine's candy. Not real striking but more subdued and pastel like...

Yes I would say light silvery green is a fairly good description although I cannot think of an object in real life to give as an example.
Thanks to you all ! So i did have the right impression . I think the Prius looks fantastic in that colour ! I hope my dealer somehow can order it ! After all,all Priis are built at the same plant and toyota has a very well known comercial slogan over here which says : Toyota, nothing is impossible ! I sure hope Toyota means what they say !
I was thinking I'd buy a Prius in Blizzard Pearl (White)... Then when I went to the "build your prius" part of the Toyota website, I saw the Sea Glass Pearl. WOW. Green is my favorite color, and it looked nice on the website. Then I saw one in person. NOT the same color as what you see on the website... BETTER! Like a gray green. Aquamarine almost. I knew instantly that I'd get this color, even if I had to special order it. It's new for 2012. I wonder how long Toyota will keep this color. I don't see a whole lot of the Gen 2 light green Prii driving around.. .Love that color too. Good luck and hope you can order one!
