The high voltage wiring passing under the body is enclosed, but also not guaranteed waterproof. Please operate Prius in terrestrial mode only.
If all else fails, maybe try enclosing your Prius in a "protective package" like a Prius condum available at your local Toyota dealer! :lol:

Maybe you got a good point. The cold water might slightly shrink my Prius resulting in a tighter sealer against intrusion of water from the outside.
It might, but it’s not advisable. Homer Simpson tried it and ended up electrocuting a pod of dolphins and a harem of mermaids. Of course that was in an Electaurus, not a Prius.
