How can I turn the MID cluster back on? I tried the disp switch trying to get back into settings. But nothing turns on the right side of dashboard. I took my car to a valet parking. Jumped into my Prius and noticed the MID wasn't working. I read my car manual with no Avail! I need help! Anybody out there can help me? Or do I have to go to the dealership?

The roller brightness adjustment is on the left side, below the vent, next to the mirror adjustments.

Fuzzy Thanks for the reply!:) But its the Right side of my dashboard that stays off? I hit the display button on my steering wheel as described in the manual. But nothing lights up? I want to get to settings. The Multi Information display doesn't light up? I turned the brightness knob and it doesn't light the right side up? I'm puzzled:confused:. My car only has 10,610 miles on it. I guess I have to take it to the dealership? Maybe I can have the recall items checked out too....Fuzzy I really appreciate your help! Thank You!

Re: Can't turn on MID Cluster ?

For some reason my right side of my dashboard is completely blank. I can't get my display screen to settings mode. I hit the display button on steering wheel. Nothing happens. I never turned the MID display off? One day I took my car to the valet parking at the hospital. Jumped in my Prius and noticed the screen being blacked out only on the right side? Any remedies out there?

Sorry, I misunderstood your comment about the right side, thinking that is where you were looking for a roller switch, not where the light was out.

Gen2's have a known display failure pattern, but I have not yet heard of anything similar for the Gen3. Yours should still be on warranty, so ask the dealer.

Firstly, make sure that you do not have a paper or other object lying on the dash and blocking the projection (as I recall it projects from below).
Secondly, go to the dealer and get help.

Thanks for the couple of replies...Found the problem at the Toyota dealership. The display #3 circuit board was shorted out. They had to replace #3circuit plate >>Error OP code 830141. Hope this helps anyone else out if this should happen to them. Thanks for everyone's HELP!
