Just need to know how to remove the OEM auto dimming mirror and your help will be highly appreciated.
I just sold my car yesterday, so can't go look. But I think there is probably a setscrew holding the mirror in the bracket, which is glued to the windshield. Any particular reason you want to remove it? Would you like to sell it, if you are installing a different mirror? If so, I'm interested! PM me or send me an email. Thanks. [email protected]
Planning to install a different mirror. Since it is powered, I assume that it comes with some wiring. Any info on where the wirings are routed? Sent you a PM. Mirror comes with home link too.
The wiring is quite complex one, because not all voltage signals are present at map lights location. See http://toyotapart.com/PT374-47100.pdf document as a good start point.
Does the auto dimming mirror with the three garage door (R/C) buttons have batteries for the R/C. If so, where are they and how are they changed?
