Being a newbie to this forum, I see the term "MFD" used often. What exactly does "mfd" stand for? Second question--tell me the correct way to "fill up" at the pump. I understand that the Prius has a "bladder type" tank. Can you actually overfill the tank and do harm?
Just figured out that MFD must stand for multi-function display, which I know what that is...so, need comments on the "fill up" process...
Thanks for the quick reply....just finished reading that on another thread, and very happy about the conventional fuel tank!
FWIW, I fill just till the pump does it's first automatic shut-off. It's quick, relatively consistant, and reduces risk of spillage or fouling any venting mechanism. Any skewing of mpg calculations due variations in full tank level do work out, in as little as two fill ups.
