NorCal Prius updates

I, too, received a notification - an email notification stating that I should start getting charged up because my PIP is on its way to Dublin Toyota. The email also states that it will be the final email regarding my new PIP.

Yeah that was probably it. My buddies car was on Eminent Ace and he just got his as well. so this is probably all the cars that were on EA that offloaded sat/sun. Funny thing was the email I received said it arrived at port instead of on its way. Still said it was the last email i would receive. Maybe they have different styled emails to different people or changed them after the first batch. Anyway, Progress! woohoo for you guys!

 

Also kinda cute that the car in the email is the color that you actually ordered. Nice touch.

 

My car was also in first batch and nothing so far. I am thinking Thu or Friday..

 

The note said it's left benecia and is in transit to the dealership. My guess is that means it was handed off from the port people to whoever transports the cars to the dealership. The dealer is going to check on the status tomorrow.

I was at Dublin Toyota yesterday around 4PM. They have two PIPs with VIN numbers showing in the computer, but neither had arrived yet. It was sad I saw a delivery truck leaving their site with a PIP on it but it was not for their dealership.

Does your Order Status show the car was received by the port. Mine does not even though Toyota sent me the same email others got saying it arrived.

My car maybe held up since I got the paint protector deca for the front, door edges, bumper protector.

Dublin Toyota told me LA is always faster in receiving cars than Norcal.

Its disappointing to see Carsen in LA have so many cars and the boat docked here first in Norcal.....

The wait goes on...

 

I'm picking up my pip at Putnam now!

I have two questions:

1. For those that know your car has arrived, did your toyota.com order ever update to show it arriving in the US? Mine still says it was shipped on 2/8. It does not show as having arrived at the port.

2. Anyone order from Toyota 101?

Nope, mine still shows no date for "arrival in US port" or whatever that field is. For me it should've updated on 2/23-2/24.

 

Funny Paradox! Actually that was the salesman standing next to the car. My hair is long and shaggy. can I still say OoRah?

 

FWIW Mine never showed arrived at port. So once you get the "last" email from Toyota it seems to be a waiting game for the dealer to call.

 

Andrey said that 7 were delivered to him and I was the first to pickup. So there are 6 other lucky peeps out there.

 

... by me. Very pretty blue. Now to spend the entire night configuring things (Bluetooth, Nav system, etc.) They got only mine in today.
