looks like ur 12 volt battery is done, so it thinks your in ig-on mode without ready. sometimes the car goes crazy when the 12v battery is low
LOL sorry... that's just wild! that really looks like an ecu thing. that's where DH would start looking. see my post in your other thread. the wipers don't tie in to anything like the alarm or the lights or anything that is directly related to the 12v battery. also, the car was turned off with the wiper controls off, right?
I know this is old, but yes. When the middle of the night occurrences happened, everything was off. And the wipers were not in the on position. I would like to add though, that the car was waking itself up in the middle of the night on occasion from the time it arrived in my garage new, up to its first battery replacement. Seven years and several batteries later, the problem has not reoccurred.
