I'm not 100% decided on whether or not I'll sell the Prius, but I figured I'd post it up to see if anyone is interested and if I get what I'm looking for I'd gladly part ways with it. It's a 2010 Blizzard White Prius IV with Solar/Navi with 12,000 or so miles on it. The car has the following mods: Full Aimgain body kit from Japan (includes rear spoiler, Lexus LS exhaust finishers powdercoated black and LED lights) Full Wraptivo matte white wrap with carbon white accents HKS coilovers HKS intake Work Wheels Meister 3-piece in custom gold/bronze finish 18x8 with Falken FK-452s DDM Tuning HIDs in the headlights and foglights Custom interior by Infinite Auto Design - suede/leather Genuine JDM mirror covers w/ turn signals, window visors Car is basically in mint condition. I'm asking $31k firm, located in So Cal. If anyone is interested, please shoot me a PM. Sale of the vehicle would include all stock parts including suspension, front and rear bumpers and side skirts, stock intake as well as a set of TEIN H.Tech springs if you don't want coilovers.
Good luck on the sale!! Nice set up all the way. If you can't find a buyer I would like to buy the HKS intake if are willing to sell parts off the car. Let me know.
Very nice mods. I wish you open a side business and offer the mods to other owners. I am sure you are over booked already
Usually modified vehicles sell for lower than a stock version, unless it's a rare or classic car which the Prius isn't. Lol. But I understand what you're trying to do. If I spent all that money on it, I'd want to make it back somehow too, lol. But that's what parting out is for. You're gonna have to get lucky and find a buyer who's looking for those exact mods, and even luckier to find a buyer who's not savvy enough to know that a modified car like that ought to be cheaper than a stock version. Good luck man.
That's generally how it goes, but people have a lot of money to throw around in OC, and sometimes you get lucky. Generally the best bet is to return it to stock, get kbb/edmunds tmv, and sell the aftermarket stuff for ~50%-75% of what you paid for it, not counting install costs. That said if someone doesn't need to sell, maybe it's worthwhile waiting around for something.
