Hello I recently purchased a 2012 Prius 3. I am thinking of either getting the dealer to install leather seats or purchase some Clazzio covers and install them. I have several questions: 1.When the Clazzio covers are on do they tend to slip and slide when people sit down? I have had other covers in other cars and it seemed like they would shift when people sat down. 2. I have watched several youtube videos showing how to install. Most of these are for the front seat only. To do the rear seats, will I need to remove the seat from the car? 3. When these are installed can you tell they are covers? DOes the appearince of the car suffer then? 4. Are the Clazzio heat seats the saemas if I have the dealer install leatehr with heated seats?
Do a search in this forum for "seat covers". All of your Q's will be answered. But.... 1) They don't slip. I believe the foam in the seat cover prevents that from happening. 2) You'll have to remove the rear seat bottom, if memory serves me correctly. Directions on how to do so are in one of the other threads. 3) They look VERY good. I couldn't tell that they are seat covers. 4) No, they are not the same. The dealer seats are probably more costly. I have no interest in heated seats myself. Shawn
