hi everyone, i will purchase and have someone put in the dvd/navigation/backup camera for my new prius 2011. can any expert recommend some good branches. i am looking at many models. however, there are too many conflicting reviews. btw, there is a local place i will bring my car to do the work. they also sell some. It is almost never cheaper to buy these things after the fact then just getting the model with them to begin with... Do you even have the high res display for nav?
I see only two choices. 1. Buy a Prius that is factory equipped with Nav, JBL sound system, and backup camera. 2. Buy a Prius without those options and install after market equipment. But I think the after market equipment might be better if you select top of the line equipment and get a good installation.
Well, thanks for the input. however i already bought the Prius 3 with not such option. anyway, this weekend we'll get nagivation/dvd/backup camera installed using Kenwood DNX6960 and CMOS camera for 1050 dollars. good day!:cheer2:
So how did the install go? Did the installer have any problems hooking up the Kenwood 6960 to your Prius three with the JBL amp?
