My order page has been updated. Now shows that my car was built on 2/12/2012. Woo hoo! Doesn't indicate that it's enroute to the port, though.

Guess I should start scheduling that EVSE installation...

I was order 599, being fulfilled through Putnam Toyota in the Bay Area.

Mine is currently on board the "New Century II" cargo ship, and is scheduled to arrive in Benicia on February 22nd.

I was asked by my dealer to specify any final accessories (like type of floor mat, door edge guards, protection film etc.) that are added to the car at the port so everything is all in place when I pick it up at the dealer.

Anyone know how long it typically takes to get cars from the Port to the dealer? I'm assuming Toyota's supply chain is pretty efficient at this so they can move their cars -- wonder if I'll be a February sale?

In your hands before the end of February would be amazing! I hope you keep us posted, along with others who are among the first to take delivery. Good luck.:D

I know you're close to Benicia, but I'd say a week is cutting it too close for you to make a Feb delivery. You might make it, but it takes a few days for them to unload the cars, get them through customs, and do any "at the port" upgrades, and then transport it over to your dealer. If I was a betting man, I would bet you would get your car around the 2nd or 5th of March.

Wow didn't realize Toyota was already building these things. Just checked my order:

So February 8 is the first batch to ship out?

Mine left on February 7th 9:50am, but it's going to the East Coast.

Did you get that info from the dealer?

I didn't, I got it elsewhere, but a good dealer can find it out. Dianne on here is letting her customers know when she sees the info.

If by the info you mean the tracking, not the name of the vessel, once you know the name of the vessel yours is on goto http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ and you can search for info on it on the live map.

The ship "New Nada" left port tonight bound for Panama, so I'm really hoping my car is on that one! Hopefully my dealer can confirm or deny that tomorrow. But the ship left from the same area of the port as the others mentioned in this thread, so it seems pretty likely that some of our cars are on it.

My dealer is also Putnam Toyota of Burlingame and my PIP is also in ship that left on 2/8/2012 so any idea on when it will arrive at port and when I should expect it to the dealer?

I'm guessing Eminent Ace is your ship. It left Japan around 2/11/12. The ship before that, New Century 2, left on 2/9/12 IIRC.

Here's the info for Eminent Ace in this post:

    http://priuschat.com/forums/toyota-...yota-plug-in-ship-carriers-3.html#post1468840

ETA to Benicia, CA is 2/25/12. If its on New Century 2, ETA to Benicia is 2/22/12.

Your dealer may be able to tell you what exact ship your car is on if you call them.

The Toyota website says my car was built on 2/7, but then my dealer said it's showing up on their logs as going on a ship leaving 2/14... from everything I've seen from others here, doesn't that seem strange?

Mine was built on the 9th and was on the ship in the 12th. While yours does seem a little longer than normal, it may just be the logistics of which cars are going where - and on which ships.

Wow! Am I reading that right that it says ETA of May 3rd? Please tell me that date is actually March 5th!

Pretty sure that's March 5. Other counties format their dates differently than we do. But it confused me at first too.

That is what I thought as well, but I looked at Paradox's photos and his have dates of 2012-02-07 for leaving port, thus my concern.

I hadn't noticed that in the other screeshots. Damn. Maybe I'm wrong and our cars aren't on this boat then. I'm hoping my dealer will clear things up soon so I can stalk the correct boat! But it has been pretty entertaining locating the boats and trying to figure this out with little to no info, at least for me. :)

    David,
My Order page finally updated this morning to show in transit to port on 2/12, so it does look like our cars will arrive at the same time. Now if we could just figure out which ship is ours.........
