Leather steering wheel cover project complete

    Nice! My friend cut his hands up wrapping mine and then 3 mos later I replaced the wheel with an oem leather wrapped touring wheel because the wheelskins began to peel. I moisturized it weekly too :(

    Did Wheelskins not honor their warranty?

    I never thought it was important, but I really don't like the feel of a plastic steering wheel now that I'm used to leather.

    didn't even bother...I got such a great deal on my oem leather wheel

    Woah, that's thick now. I paid about $300 for an OEM leather wrapped wheel from eBay and installation at the dealer. Personally I prefer the OEM look.

    damn..I paid $60 for mine from ebay :)

    but yes, the wheelskin ontop of the OEM plastic wheel makes it quite the thick wheel!
