    I am looking for a 2001-2003 Prius in good condition with a bad traction battery. I would like to try and fix it myself. I live in Littleton, NC.

    I saw one go by on craiglist not too long ago for $2000. Somebody got to it before I did. You gotta be fast and have reasonable price expectations. You are also competing against ReInvolt for Gen II cells from salvage yards, or you can buy old Gen I cells from them directly. Good luck!
