Typical first month damage

    When I travel to NY - Long Island, I leave my car parked until I'm ready to drive home and make everyone else drive me around. No way I'm letting NY'ers take swipe at my car!! LOL

    Both estimates to R & R and repaint the bumper .... around $600.00.

    OFF TOPIC a little

    In NYC, no choice but to let the garage folks take your car.
    My prius is 1 month old, and I've been driving round and round the block on multiple occasions, afraid to leave it with a parking garage.

    My main fear, too, is they won't know how to turn the car off or something.

    Experience of you all out there? Is the prius methodology ubiquitous enough now that everyone knows how to work it?

    I drove my new car home and opened the hatch in my garage with the garage door up.
