I am VERY happy to report that after many months of waiting we have finally received our production run of our BT Tech Prius Stiffening Plates!! The CNC finish is excellent and surpassed my expectations. All backorders for this product will be filled immediately and will begin to ship starting tomorrow. Hello Doc.. From the information that I have received from my contact at Toyota in Southern Ca, there were NO structural changes to the 2006 US spec Prius including the stiffening plate. Brian, Does this mean you have verified that your plate will work on an '06 (i.e., mounting holes line up, etc)?

I understand that it should be, but please let us know when you've been able to install one and verified it. I am not interested in buying something only to find out they moved the holes for some reason or another -- they have made incremental changes, and who knows if that includes moving parts in the undercarriage region for some reason.
