I was checking the CA list of cars for the green carpool stickers, and the 2012 Prius PHEV is now listed. Was it just put on there? I hadn't seen any message about it before. Eligible Vehicles - Single Occupant Carpool Lane Use Stickers Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid Enhanced ATPZEV Plug-in Hybrid 1.8 CTYXV01.8HCU
OMG! Yahoooo! I will take back all the bad things I said about government workers....they are awesome! Now if they can issue me a green sticker before I get my PIP, that would be great! :cheer2:
The spec has been updated to 95 MPGe and 50 MPG with regular gas. 2012 Prius Plug-in Hybrid: 95 MPGe. 2012 Chevy Volt: 94 MPGe. Game On?
How about the California Clean Vehicle rebate? Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't see it listed yet. The Mitsubishi i-MiEV is listed as eligible and that car is not for sale yet either. Has Toyota applied?
http://energycenter.org/index.php/i...07-arb-approves-fy-2011-2012-funding-for-cvrp The Prius Plug-in is listed as the example for the Light-Duty Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle. It's then noted: The rebate amount from CA should be $1,500.00
OK so what's the procedure for getting one of them new stickers? Is that in place yet? I remember running to the FastTrack office and then mailing something to the DMV when I got my 2006 Prius.
Already approved. You need your final license plate to apply: http://dmv.ca.gov/forms/reg/reg1000.pdf More info: Eligible Vehicles - Single Occupant Carpool Lane Use Stickers ToyotaPrius Plug-in HybridEnhanced ATPZEVPlug-in Hybrid1.8CTYXV01.8HCU2011 Model Year Vehicles FASTRAC: http://www.bayareafastrak.org/static/info/hybrid_instructions.shtml
Not according to CARB. It states: "Green Clean Air Vehicle Stickers pending federal approval will be available..." at the link you provided:
40,000 stickers available starting Jan 12...... And....qualifying vehicles purchased BEFORE Jan 12th are also eligible.... Anyone have a guess on how soon they'll sell out? I haven't seen any Greenies out on the road yet. How many PIP's do you expect will sell in March?
