everyone. I purchased my new Prius v 5 a few days ago and I couldn't be happier. It's so much fun to drive, and I love all the features it has -- bluetooth, nav, xm, etc. My husband wanted me to get an Avalon after test driving both vehicles. Of course the Avalon is more luxurious, but the Prius is definitely more my style. I paid under $30,000 for it. Thought the price was a bit high, but the dealer wouldn't go lower after a couple of days of negotiating. I read that one fella got the car for about $26,500. That was one hell of a deal. Maybe I should have driven to FL to buy mine.
How did someone get $26500 for a v Five?! That is like $2k under invoice. Congrats on the new ride, btw. I checked out a v Five w/ AT at a local autoshow last evening. It is no doubt that I'll be getting a Five but I'm still having a hard time dropping the $5k on the AT package. My wife wants the moonroof "for the baby".
to PriusChat! I hope you like your v5 as much as I like my Gen2, I am still finding high tech features after 3 years! (I found a calendar with notes last month and a 'breadcrumb' mode that shows where you have been the month before)
You can always import one from Canada. We have the panoramic roof on all models except the base. (although the Luxury Package may be priced closed to your base Five lol but it does have similar equipment).
