Ok, I bought & received these a week ago & still contemplating whether to put them on or not after test-fitting & looking at them w/ clear packing tape. Obviously, I was going to install them which is why I ordered them but upon looking at them over & over, it just doesn't look right w/ the rims IMO:(. Here are some pix, what do u guys think? The last 2 pix. are for comparison without the moldings.

You know normally I'd say...it's your choice..and not really offer an opinion.

But looking at the pictures? I think your instincts are correct. I think it looks better without the moldings. It looks sharper and cleaner. IMO, the moldings distract from the lines and your rims.

I think the moldings look pretty good. By the way, very nice Prius. Nice Wheels.

That's exactly what I thought. Although it looks ok, it seems to flow better & cleaner without it.

I think it looks good if your rims were chrome and also if you plan to get chrome handles as well, otherwise I would just go with the white body side mouldings which goes just abit higher below the door handles

    good luck :)

I don't like them with stock rims but I think they look pretty good with the machine face finish on your wheels.

They look ok on your car. To me, they balance out the ventvisors.

To make your decision easier, I think they look fine without the moldings. What you should really do is add more mods that really enhance the car. You already did that by adding the turn signal mirrors and replacing the stock 15" with aftermarket rims. Consider getting the Valenti lights.

I was thinking that too(that they would match & compliment my rims) but the shade & coloring is distinctly off as it's hard to tell from the pix's. I would imagine these would b perfect for those w/Blizzard Pearl that have gunmetal rims as they are kinda grey/dark chrome color. Also, IMHO these would look good on the blue or black colored prius w/most any wheels as they would blend in better. The product seems to be of good quality as it is made of heavy plastic that feels & almost looks like metal. So, the moldings in of itself is not the problem. I may be over analyzing it as it doesn't look too bad but I wanted that perfect look & this doesn't seem to do it. Oh well, I may have to bite the bullet & install them anyways. Either that or resell them, any takers:D?

I wonder, what if the moldings were black?

Nah...do not think that would work.

No I think that would be too contrasting & loud. I actually like your tapered body colored moldings but wanted something a little different, after all I don't want to seem like I'm copying U;).

Put them on the car it makes it look lowers and longer. Besides few Peii have them, probably because of the outrageous price, they will set it apart.

I think I'm 1 of the few on here that like my stock taillights. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Valenti w/all its led features but I have several more upgrades that I would want to do 1st as money & explaining to my wife is becoming an issue:(.
