I have a 2005 purchased in jan and now have about 13,000 miles.New noise when Ice starts not heard running with only batt. Noise somewhat like a car a block away with vol up all the way and base cranked all the way up.made my ears feel like i had the back window down and driving about 60 mph. I took it in today to my dealership expecting the usual [sorry but thats the way it should sound and i cant help you] Didnt get that they twisted the heat shield on the rear part of the exhaust and the noise is gone. hope this will help you if it happens on your car Merry christmas to all ..................................................me

didnt hit anything.The tech said its just the way it is mounted it can move just enough to touch and cause noise. something to watch for. the noise was just at a level that bothered my old ears. I just wanted to pass it along just in case others find the same problem.
