I got mine from GT Covers @ http://www.gtcovers.com/shop/categories.as...=4975&main=6445 Nearly 2 years old and still look great.
I 2nd that. toyotapartsstore.com. I ordered them in charcoal. Very nice. I have the Gray interior. Have patience because they do take 2 - 4 weeks to receive.
Expensive but worth it. Fit perfectly, well enough that most passengers never realize it isn't the actual seat material. Includes covers for the rear gap between seat and doors, and both center armrests. Just be sure to specify if you have side airbags in the front seats.
Do any of you with the GT covers have dogs riding in your Prius? I have two labrador retrievers who have shed all over my Saturn. I don't want the same to happen to the Prius when it arrives. I can't get the dog hair out of the Saturn's upholstery unless I pick it out by hand a hair at a time. I was just wondering how well these covers may stand up to dog hair.
The GT covers come in a variety of materials. I know a Prius owner that has waterproof ones because of his dogs.
Yah but which backing does Toyota use? I recieved my swatches from GT and there's about 4 diferent backing thicknesses. We like the thick backing...
it's not actually toyota... it's some dealer somewhere with an online store, i think. anyway, the backing on my front covers was pretty thick from what i recall in installing them.
i only have the front ones so far... my rear ones are on order. the front ones are RELATIVELY easy. that is, you struggle with the first one. then when you figure out the system the second one goes really quickly. all in all it took maybe an hour. i hear the rear is a bigger pain to do and will find out for myself hopefully in the next week or 2.
