this is my first post. I have been lurking on and off for about a year. I am seriously considering buying a 2012 Prius III or IV. I live in NJ. Dealer I spoke to said none expected in region (NY, NJ, CT) until March. Any one have other insight into availabilty in this region? What regions is 2012 Prius III or IV (not the new bigger V) availabvle? thx
You'll be looking for a 2012 3 or 4, not the roman numeral designation III or IV. The roman numeral system was for 2010 only. I remember reading they were slated to be built January (someone posted a link I can't find right now to a site which shows anticipated production times) so late February to march here in the NE sounds right.
Not sure. Anyway, it's the Three and Four (or 3 and 4). I know it's Toyota's fault but it helps to avoid confusion if you stay away from roman numerals for the packages.

My dealer ordered my 4, blizzard pearl, for me the end of December when he was able to preference the 2012 order. He called me Friday to say that it was "on the boat." I live in the midwestern US. Sharol
Few weeks ago dealer said 1/13 for first deliveries. Maybe they will come through PDI end of this week or next week. They're getting close.
