Hey everyone, does anyone know a good (dealer or private) mechanic to service my Prius for a descent price? I live in Australia, Victoria, melbourne, south-eastern suburb (ie:springvale). If you know anyone around here please recommend. Willing to travel. Btw if you can just list out any recommended Prius mechanics around Melbourne (with specified location) may also be helpful to others in the future. Thanks heaps!
I get my 2004 Prius serviced by a local mechanic in Ormond (for minor services) like oil-change, oil filter. I asked him to replace my spark plugs as well last time and it was no trouble. He does it for about $130 per service... For silly things like air-con filter I order the part and do it myself. For more intense services (transmission fluids, inverter coolant etc), I'll probably go to Brighton Toyota... They charge your leg and arm...
If you are willing to drive 1.5 hours north I can thoroughly recommend Castlemaine Toyota. They have quite a few Melbourne cutomers.
Have you ever had your brake fluid drain/fill there or aware if the mechanic does it? If so would you be able to provide me with his contact details so I can contact him. I may give this a try if price is reasonable. Thanks for a prompt reply everyone.
Hey guys, have been using Melbourne city toyota - however not too happy. They have fried the ECU twice during normal service update and replaced under warranty. Anyone have better experiences?
We used MR PERFORMANCE in Dandenong for years. Great price and quality. Haven't been for a while as both cars are under warranty.
