    Auto forums have more in common than many would think, but I do get a kick out of some of the stuff posted by Jeepers. It tends to have a slightly different slant than what you find here.

    As you have probably noticed, Jeep people seem to have an obsession with BIG tires. Here is my latest favorite quote about that topic:

    I much prefer the handling of a firm suspension, though it's difficult to find on older models, without resorting to excessive inflation. ;)

    I think it's important that the size be in proportion. Neither too small, nor too big is good. Some people may feel that bigger is always better, but lack of proportion is displeasing and inefficient.

    And it can lead to handling problems. The chance of rollovers also increases, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
