Scientists test sick Alaska seals for radiation - Technology & science - Science - msnbc.com Hair loss, bleeding in the mouth... Sounds like they are Fucajima'd
A seal walks into a bar.... And the bartender asks "What will you have?" The seal replies "Anything but Canadian Club."
Actually...I'm pretty sure that they're testing the waters in and around Alaska. If the current radiation levels were much above background, we'd be hearing about it by now. According to the story these seals hang out near the Kamchatka peninsula. There's other radiological evils in those waters besides Japan's earth killing nuclear misadventure...IF the little guys are indeed suffering radiation induced sickness to begin with. I'm pretty sure that we'll find out what's going on in due time. Who knows??? We might even get a truthful answer. It happens every now and then.
Aside from radiation, some problems may stem from the seals eating things they shouldn't. There's all kinds of debris strewn from Japan to the West Coast of North America, none of which is seal food.
And I watched videos of two of the reactor buildings blowing high enough, that some of it reached the water... Just saying Bra...
