So my first post on the forum was about my wife's old totaled prius and this one is about the new one that she got at auction... She bought the car un-driven and it's got a bad HV battery. After we rebuilt the battery with new (used) cells the car threw a P3030. After removing the battery a second time I went to test each of the spades that readout the battery to the HV computer when lo-and-behold one was so dissolved away that it crumbled as I touched it. We're now looking for a 1st Gen "Frame Wire No2" which is the computer side bus bar. So take heed, if you're rebuilding your battery, test your bus bar connections before reinstalling into your car!
It was $130 after tax from the dealer. Reinvolt claim to have an improved bus bar that they sell via ebay sometimes.
I just rebuilt a Gen I, using Gen II cells and replaced the wiring loom with a new one. (the old one isn't usable after removing it ) The new loom fixed the error code and red traiangle
