Beep when shutting off car ?

    Recently, my 2007 Prius will make a "BEEP" when I press the POWER button to shut down the vehicle. This doesn't happen all the time, but only 1 out of 25 times or so.

    Other than the beep, I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. Everything seems to work as normal.

    Does anyone know what the BEEP is referring to?

    Might be the battery in the key- fob getting weak...maybe? I have had luck replacing the batteries. Look up threads on that for help.

    Yup. It's the key fob battery.
