Recently, my 2007 Prius will make a "BEEP" when I press the POWER button to shut down the vehicle. This doesn't happen all the time, but only 1 out of 25 times or so. Other than the beep, I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. Everything seems to work as normal. Does anyone know what the BEEP is referring to? Thanks.
Might be the battery in the key- fob getting weak...maybe? I have had luck replacing the batteries. Look up threads on that for help.
Yep. If the beep coincides w/a drive that's 20+ minutes long, then it's definitely low fob batteries. Posted at http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-...solved-one-my-two-problems-2.html#post1332448 about this before. Don't spend more than $2.50 before tax for a CR2032 battery.
