Toyota forgot one thing with the Homelink rearview mirror: no lights for the garage door buttons. You sort of have to 'feel' your way to the buttons. Much worse with gloves on.
Our Prius V 3 doesn't come with a Homelink mirror and the Toyota dealership says everything is different on the Prius V and they can't order a replacement mirror with Homelink. Very frustrating. (Note, our new RAV 4 Limited, comes with a rearview camera, but NO Homelink. What is with Toyota?
no homelink buttons I've ever used are illuminated - none of the cars I've ever seen them in, whether it's a rear-view mirror, visor button, and overhead console buttons. I don't think we can drop this one on Toyota.
The Prius v 5 w/ ATP I have has the homelink rearview mirror, but there is no backlighting on the buttons.
our hycam does not either. very frustrating flubbing around trying to find it, i almost drove thru the garage door.
Turn the autodim switch on, the green led is located between the second and third programmable Homelink button. You can also program 1, 2 or 3 of these buttons to the same RF remote if desired.
