After weeks of waiting we just picked up our Prius v3. It's Barcelona Red with Dark Grey interior. Options from the dealer included mudguards and the rear appliqué. I absolutely love it thus far... Course it only has 12 miles on it...lol. Can't wait to play with Entune and my iPhone tomorrow
Congrats! My wife and I are on week 4 of our new v Three and we're still enjoying it (especially the gas mileage) immensely. I haven't played around with Entune all that much, but so far, it doesn't seem too interesting. The only thing that I see myself using on a regular basis would be the live traffic. But a heads up if you're using an iPhone, Entune right now doesn't seem to work over a Bluetooth connection, you'll have to use the USB dock cable connection to get it working. It will supposedly be fixed in an update. Also, I'm wondering what will happen after the three free introductory years, will Entune just stop working all together if you don't start paying, or will certain features still be enabled for free? If you find out anything really cool about it, please share! Well, here's to enjoying your brand new car! :tea:
For questions about Entune, Prius v brochure refers readers to [toyota.com/entune]. A quick review of the FAQ's [toyota.com/entune/learning-center/da/help-support/faq/] came up with the following generic info: "Entune includes three years of complimentary access to apps and services delivered via most smartphones and some feature phones. (After three years, access charges will apply, excluding Pandora®)" I didn't see costs listed, or discussion of whether "opt out" is an option? Best of luck.
Congratulations --- awaiting arrival of our Barcelona Red Prius. Unfortunately not available in Canada except in bisque.
