Picked up my new 2012 Prius last week and have absolutely loved it since day 1. Wife and Baby are all very happy with the purchase.
Same color as my V5; love it - very nice pic. As to tints, does anyone know if that is an expensive involved process e.g. do the window need to be removed before tinting. I most definitely need tints as it feels like I'm driving around in a fish bowl. Love the Prius V5, look for excuses to drive now. Regards

The tinting is pretty durable (3M)... the car wash guys clean it. I have two small kids that put their fingers all over it and no scratches yet. Having small kids and the windows being so big on the v I can't imagine not having tint.

What percentage of tinting did you apply? Does the amount of tinting you applied affect visibility out the back window? Our Prius v is about 10 days old, and my wife (it's her car) is interested in tinting the windows. My thought is to choose a tint that is dark enough to prevent people from easily seeing into the back, but not too dark otherwise.
