Confirmed the following part numbers are correct for oil change undercover:

    $9.50 for 10 pack (clipsandfasteners.com)

    Small size (7mm hole, 20mm head) : 90467-07201
    $10.15 for 10 pack (clipsandfasteners.com)

Thanks GreenClipper. Below is the link to my thread. Note that there are two types of hinges that I tried. The continuous hinge (Post#30) is the better of the two because it secures the entire length of the hinge area.

Thanks for the post regarding the updated hinge. I had long ago suggested a "piano" type hinge for this application, but everyone that posted comments about it thought it was a bad idea, seemingly. Said it would corrode and become frozen, etc. I think it is an excellent way to go, as I was thinking about what type of scrap plastic I could use for a "stiffener" across the hinged are, that I could attach under the hinges. This takes care of that! Does this firm you ordered this hinge from not have a ready made length of hinge that would work w/o sawing it off to length? Quick read of your post sounded like you had a 72" piece to cut down, is that what I read?

Third time to the web site and I see that their "stock" lengths are 72", & 96". So I guess I answered my own question. Sorry that I didn't see that before I asked you to clarify. I may see if I could find a similar hinge locally that was maybe a foot long, or 18"..... Six foot of hinge for 14" of use seems like a lot of waste material, but then I'm kind of at a loss as to where to start to look. But think I'll beat the bushes, and see if anything can be found. This piano type of hinge doesn't allow for "removal of the pin" does it? I kind of liked the idea of being able to get the door completely away from the opening. Two of my neighbors have lifts, but I hate to ask them to use them, + I use and "extractor" for the oil, and am only under the car to R&R the oil filter anyway. Thanks again for sharing your experience and knowledge.

The pin does not come out, but the door opens completely and can be pinned up to the undercover so it is as good as being removed.

I would be happy to cut a 14" piece from the remaining continuous hinge I have and send it to you. The original 72" piece cost me $32.28 so 14" would be $6.30 plus shipping which will probably be $10.00 to $15.00 for an estimated total of $16.30 to $21.30. Send me a PM if you are interested.
