Hello, My last post was wildly unpopular so I am hoping this one will get more responses if I keep it simple. Here is the deal, I want a new 2011 Prius 3 with Nav. I want to pay 25,000 for it, or as close as possible. I currently have offers of 25,800. Please give me your advice on how much I should pay, or deals you have seen, or how much you paid! Thank you very very much. -Adrian
That's the exact car I have and I paid $25,900 in October. I was happy with it as it was under MSRP and there was incentive financing from Toyota.
I did get that pricing using a auto purchasing service similar to what Sam's, Costco and AAA offer. It also included the floor mats and the Perma plate interior and exterior treatment (which I actually turned down but it had already been applied to the car when he found the color/trim I wanted) so they had to give it to me at no additional charge. I know that people love to haggle the price as low as possible or wait until the new models come out but I didn't have that option. My Ford Focus sold a lot quicker than I expected and I needed a car fast. I had planned on buying a low milage used Prius and keeping the price down but they hold their value really well in Southern California and no one was giving up any low milage ones at the time. The closest I could find was a used 2010 4 with Navigation and under 3,000 miles on it but even used it was $28,995!
Just got my car today! Package III Solar/Nav Package $26691 0% for 60 months I appreciate the help I received! Hope this helps you!
Yay! You got one! I didn't take the $1000 cash back and instead worked out 0% for 60 months. I can't pay it off faster since I'm a lifetime student. I got the solar, which is about $1800 more because I live in AZ and want to start the AC (Plus it is always clear) otherwise I would have skipped it too. My first car with a sun roof! I'm like a kid with a new toy!
The Black Friday deal was $1000 cash back? My state has $1000 cash back for the month of November...wonder what it will be next month...
Yes, the black friday deal was 1000 cash back in my area (essentially). But the deal was on top of any other incentives or pricings., so I still got the 0.0% financing which was pretty cool. My brother told me to wait till december or early January, but I didn't want to lose a chance at my color. Haha, and as for this being your first car with a sunroof, this actually IS my first car. I didn't need one in college, and I ride the bus to work, but this sure is exciting.
